Camp Noviu is an outdoor eco-camp powered and managed by Alder Tours and Travels, a leading tour operator in Nagaland and also the local partner of TUTC, Kohima Camp Nagaland (The Ultimate Travelling Camp). Having felt the need to accommodate more tourists especially during peak seasons like hornbill festivals as accommodations run short, Camp Noviu was started in 2019. The idea emerged as a result of some repeat clients expressing their interest to visit Nagaland again staying in some budget accommodation and natural environment after having done some camping and trekking trips with Alder Tours. Camp Noviu is just a walking distance of 1.3 kms away South of Hornbill Festival Venue Kisama. There are taxis available from Kisama to the camp and from Kohima to reach the camp.
For visitors coming by flight and train from Dimapur, the distance from Dimapur airport to Camp Noviu is 80 kms and takes little more than 3 – 3½ hours. The distance from Dimapur train station to Camp Noviu is 3½ 4 hrs.
For visitors coming from Imphal. The distance from Imphal Airport (IMF) to Camp Noviu is 132 kms and takes about 4½ hours.

Kisama Village
Kisama is the venue for the annual Hornbill Festival which is celebrated from Decemeber 1-10 every year. It is located about 11km from the capital city Kohima on the National Highway number 29. Kisama is designed in the form of an typical Naga village where all the different Naga tribes have their morungs built. Hornbill Festival is the biggest cultural festival in Northeast India and attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists including foreigners as well as Indians. The festival is organized by the State Tourism and Art and Culture Departments, Government of Nagaland.
Dzukou Valley Trekking
Dzukou valley is a beautiful destination and a place of delight for trekkers and adventurers. The valley remains green round the year covered with a stout HImalayan bamboo and varieties of wild flowers during summer. Dzukou valley lies on the Barail mountain range and has an elevation of 2,500 metres above sea level. Located 37 km south of Kohima, Dzükou valley is also known for its bio-diversity that hosts numerous species of flora and fauna. This valley is well known for its natural environment with enchanted valleys and rolling hills which will leave you mesmerised with its scenic beauty.
